WOODSTOCK/CHATHAM - It's going to be a busy weekend for the Woodstock Navy Vets.
They have three games on the Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL) schedule, starting with a home matchup against the LaSalle Vipers tonight and another home game against the Listowel Cyclones tomorrow night. The puck will drop at 7:45 p.m. for both games at Southwood Arena.
The Navy Vets will be on the road on Sunday for a matchup against the Chatham Maroons. That game will get underway at 7:00 p.m. at Chatham Memorial Arena.
The Woodstock GOHL team also announced yesterday that it acquired two new players; twins Maddyx Chaput and Hudsyn Chaput from the St. Marys Lincolns. The 17-year-old twins both had impressive seasons with the Huron-Perth Lakers U18 AAA program with Maddyx having 26 goals and 36 assists for 62 points in 35 games, and Hudsyn having 20 goals and 26 assists for 46 points in 35 games. Maddyx also played eight playoff games with St. Marys, while Hudsyn suited up six times for the Lincolns.

The London Nationals sit in third place with seven points, while the Elimira Sugar Kings and the Komoka Kings are tied for second place with eight points each.
