WOODSTOCK - The idea of a consumption treatment site opening in Woodstock has been a hot topic over the past few months.
In response to this, City Councillor Mark Schadenberg put forward a notice of motion for the August 10th council meeting, requesting that City Council not support this. He later withdrew his notice of motion, and the city scheduled a special meeting in order to gather public input on the matter. That meeting will be taking place at 1:00 p.m. today in Council Chambers.
