It will be held at 789 Dundas Street from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday February 14th.
WOODSTOCK - Love is in the air at the Oxford County Animal Rescue (OCAR), along with the smell of sweet treats.
Valentine's Day is coming up next Saturday, so the local animal rescue will be hosting its annual Valentine's Day Bake Sale. It's happening at its Woodstock office, which is located at 789 Dundas Street.
Foster Coordinator Anna Holmes says they will have lots of delicious items to satisfy your sweet tooth.
"There's always so many amazing things that are baked and provided by our volunteers. Everything from cookies and squares to cheesecakes and cupcakes. There's always lots of goodies at our bake sale."
Holmes is excited to see the community support the event.
"They are probably some our most popular fundraisers. It's always nice to meet people face to face that have been our supporters for many many years. Who doesn't love sweet treats?"
All of the proceeds raised will benefit the animals in their care and you can find more information about the Oxford County Animal Rescue online here.
Anna Holmes stopped by the Heart FM studio for her monthly chat with Dan and Marcie on Wednesday February 4th. You can listen to the full interview below:
