Woodstock Police Briefs include a road-rage incident, a speeding violation, a driver travelling on the wrong side of the road with a suspended licence, and a hit-and-run.
WOODSTOCK - A Cambridge man is in trouble with the law in Woodstock.
Police were made aware of a road rage incident involving two drivers last Saturday at 12:30 pm. One driver intentionally hit another vehicle in the area of Highway 59 at Oxford Road 17.
No injuries were reported; however, both vehicles were damaged, and the 2 drivers knew each other.
Officers charged a 28-year-old with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

WOODSTOCK - The need for speed has a Hamilton man in trouble with Woodstock Police.
Last Sunday at 8 p.m., officers noticed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed in the area of Highway 2 and the 11th line. The 21-year-old man was clocked going over 100 km/h in a 60 zone.
The driver was stopped and is now facing a count of driving a motor vehicle performing a stunt.
He was also handed a 30-day licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.

WOODSTOCK - On Monday, a 37-year-old was charged after driving in the wrong lane on Industrial Avenue in Woodstock.
Upon further examinatio,n Woodstock police determined she was driving with a suspended driver's licence.
She has been charged with driving under suspension, and her vehicle has been impounded for seven days.

WOODSTOCK - A man from Woodstock has been charged in a two-vehicle crash in his hometown.
It happened in the area of Peel Street and Wilson Street around 6 last night... and police say one of the drivers failed to remain at the scene.
Officers did eventually locate the driver who took off.
The 34-year-old has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of a collision, and driving while under suspension.
