A 29-year-old has been apprehended by police following a weapons investigation early this morning in Tillsonburg.
UPDATE: A 29-year-old from Tillsonburg has been arrested and is now facing 12 charges following the weapons investigation this morning.
Around 6:30 today, OPP were able to catch the suspect following reports that they were approaching people asking for money while holding a firearm.
The charges include: Armed Robbery (two counts), Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (three counts), Disguise with Intent (two counts), Carrying Concealed Weapon (two counts), Use Firearm While Committing Offence (two counts), Fail to Comply with Undertaking
No property was lost by the victims, and no injuries were reported.

TILLSONBURG - A weapons investigation is underway in Tillsonburg.
The Oxford OPP responded to reports of someone with a firearm in the King Street Area, between First Street and Third Street, at around 6:30 a.m. today.
The area is currently closed for the investigation, and the OPP is asking people to stay away from the area at this time.
Police say there is no threat to public safety and no further details have been released at this time.
