SIMCOE - A strange story out of Simoe today after a vehicle break in on Campbell Street.
Police say early Friday morning somebody stole a small amount of money and a purple velvet Crown Royal bag from an unlocked car parked on the street. The Crown Royal bag was actually being used to store the cremated remains of a loved one. The owner is very upset and would appreciate the bag being returned.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Norfolk OPP or Crime Stoppers.
DELHI - A 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck has been stolen from a home in Delhi.
Police say the truck was parked in the driveway on James Street when it was taken early Friday morning. The vehicle is described as a black coloured, 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A 58 year old man from Norfolk County is facing several charges relating to child pornography.
Over the past several weeks, the Norfolk County Crime Unit conducted an investigation into child pornography.
On Monday, October 5, 2015 police arrested and charged 58-year-old David B MARAZZO of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences.
· Production of Child Pornography
· Possession of Child Pornography
· Sexual Exploitation
· Commodification of sexual activity X2
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
