A Norfolk County woman is airlifted to Hamilton suffering life threatening injuries after a collision on Highway 3.
NORFOLK COUNTY -- Norfolk OPP have been on the scene of a pedestrian collision in Charlotteville Tuesday morning.
Police say around 3:30 am, a 45 year-old Norfolk County woman was struck by an unknown vehicle that was travelling westbound on Highway 3. The woman was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital with serious, life threatening injuries.
The driver and vehicle were eventually located and police say their investigation is continuing.
In a release, Constable Ed Sanchuk says “the OPP would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the witnesses that came forward to assist with this investigation.”
