The Trojans won their Yeck Division quarterfinal series against the Irish 4-0. In the Doherty Division, the Braves are leading their series against the Navy Vets 2-1 and the Merchants have taken a 3-0 lead against the Mounties.
PJHL - The Thamesford Trojans will be moving on to the next round of the PJHL playoffs.
Thamesford beat the Lucan Irish 5-2 on Friday and 5-2 on Saturday, winning the best-of-seven quarterfinal series 4-0 in the end. It's unknown who they will face in round two of the playoffs at this time.
Meanwhile the Tavistock Braves have taken a 2-1 lead in their Doherty Division quarterfinal series against the Woodstock Navy Vets. Tavistock celebrated a 4-3 overtime win on Friday, but Woodstock bounced back with a 7-2 victory yesterday. Game 4 is scheduled for tomorrow night at Southwood Arena. The puck will drop at 7:45 p.m.
The Norwich Merchants need just one more win against the Paris Mounties. Norwich is currently leading the best of seven quarterfinal series 3-0 after celebrating a 10-4 win on Friday, a 6-4 win on Saturday and a 4-1 win yesterday. Game 4 will be taking place tomorrow night at the Brant Sports Complex. That game should begin at 7:00 p.m.
