City Police kept busy Thursday with several incidents
Woodstock Police were kept busy Thursday with several incidents around the City.
The first happened in an employee parking lot at a Beards Lane business. Police say sometime between 11 am and 12:15pm suspects entered the parking lot and stole the locked vehicle. It is described as a 2007 extended cab Chevy Silverado, grey and in good condition with aluminium rims, tube style running boards and has a Linex sticker in the rear window.
Then around 12:50 Thursday Police were called to a two vehicle collision at Norwich Ave and Juliana Drive where one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police estimate 15 thousand dollars in damage to the vehicles. A 36 year old Woodstock man who police have not named has been charged with failing to stop for a red light.
Later that evening, around 5:40 police were called to a three vehicle collision on Dundas East at the 401 off ramps. Damage in that crash is estimated at ten thousand dollars. A 59 year old Woodstock woman, who police have also not named is facing a careless driving charge.
