While out on a local patrol, Oxford OPP pulled over and arrested an impaired driver in Blandford-Blenheim.
(BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM) - Police, while on general patrol in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim, found and arrested an impaired driver.
At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment, observed a driver of a vehicle showing signs of impairment.
Police initiated a traffic stop and, after speaking to the driver, police observed further signs of impairment and made an arrest.
After conducting testing at the detachment, a 27-year-old of Cambridge, has been charged with operation while impaired as well as operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, located in Woodstock, on July 16.
