A survey is being put out by the Tillsonburg Fire Department.
TILLSONBURG - The Fire Department in Tillsonburg is collecting opinions as they look to improve the service.
Fire Chief for the town of Tillsonburg, Jeff Smith talks about how they will receive the public's input.
"At this point the committee is engaging the community and trying to get some stakeholder feedback, and one of the ways that they're doing this is through a survey that's being issued. The data's being collected and will be part of the strategic plan for the Tillsonburg Fire Department."
Smith says the survey is about what the community wants out of their fire department.
"The survey is geared towards the residents of Tillsonburg and it's looking towards what the stakeholders want out of their fire department, what level of service do they think they have or what level of service they expect from their fire department."
They hope to bring insight on how they currently measure up, so they can improve their footing for the future.
You can find an online version of the survey here. The deadline is May 31st 2018.
