Appeal for Convicted Killer Faces Third Delay.
It will be at least November before we know if taxpayer dollars will pay for Michael Rafferty's appeal.
Rafferty, who was convicted in the abduction, sexual assault and murder of Tori Stafford was expected to appear in court next week to hear whether he would receive a court-appointed lawyer or if his application for legal aid would be approved.
The matter has been put over for a third time, with no reason given for the delay.
His new court date is November 19.
