This has prompted Southwestern Public Health to issue a warning about a very toxic Red Fentanyl currently circulating in our community. It is likely that Red Fentanyl is also circulating in surrounding counties, including Elgin County.
Anyone who does drugs or hangs out with or lives with drug users, should carry a Nalaxone kit. It can be the difference between life and death. Naloxone kits and training are available through the local public health unit online here.
