Oxford County is considering road safety improvements for three areas in Woodstock and one in Tillsonburg.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Council will be looking at road safety improvements.
Proposals have been brought forward regarding four areas, three in Woodstock and one in Tillsonburg.
The proposed measures include adjusted speed zone limits, new electronic feedback signs, Community Safety Zone designations, and controlled pedestrian crossings. The locations are:
- Oxford Road 20 / North Street E (Broadway Street to Tillson Avenue) Tillsonburg,
- Oxford Road 15 / Parkinson Road (Beard’s Lane to Oxford Road 4) Woodstock,
- Oxford Road 35 / Devonshire Avenue (Vansittart Avenue to Huron Street) Woodstock,
- Oxford Road 17 (14th Line to Oxford Road 4) Woodstock.
Council will look at the measures on November 22nd but residents can find more information and submit their comments through the Speak Up Oxford website.
