It appears all of the rough edges have been sanded away and it's smooth sailing for this year's Woodstock Wood Show.
The 28th annual show opened it's doors Friday morning to more than 85 national and international vendors.
Coordinator Ron Findlater says he has heard nothing but good things about this year's show.
"The attendance has been really good and the vendors have been pleased with the response. One individual indicated after two hours that he had surpassed the sales from last year after three days."
"I'm pleased that we've got about 85 vendors and exhibitors. I can honestly say that this is an international, coast to coast event. I have a vendor from Rhode Island, Washington State, New Brunswick, a couple from Quebec and the rest are from throughout Ontario."
"We have people turning projects on a lathe, people carving, people demonstrating specific finishing products and techniques, demonstrating with the saws... Whether they are beginners or experienced, there is always little tips and tricks you can learn from some of these people who have been at this for a long time."
The show runs until 8 tonight and then again 10-6 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday. Admission is $10.
