Ontario's Special Investigation Unit (SIU) are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Norfolk County man. OPP say they were called to a residence at Windham East Quarterline Road around 10:20 am Monday morning with reports of a barricaded person. Police spoke with a family member of the male home owner which arose concerns for his safety. Tactics and Rescue Unit members attended the scene and found the man was dead. The S.I.U. have been called in to investigate the situation due to the fact the man was found deceased during the incident.
