A 41 year old man is suffering from serious but non life threatening injuries after getting stabbed in downtown Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - A 41 year old man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after a nasty fight in Woodstock.
Police were called to the west end of Dundas street last night around 9:30 p.m after an argument turned physical. A 26 year old man and a 23 year old woman approached the victim and the three got into an argument. The 26 year old tried to punch the man and he rescinded by trying to hit him with his bike helmet. The 26 year old then pulled out a knife and stabbed the man.
All the people involved know each other.
The 41 year old was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The 26 year old male and 23 year old female were located by police quickly and were arrested.
Michael Peltier, age 26 has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
