Oxford OPP responded to reports of suspicious person and vehicle in Blandford Blenheim
Oxford OPP are investigating reports of a suspicious person in Blandford Blenheim Township.
Police say around 8:30 Friday morning, they received a call from a resident on Township Road 4 reporting a female had approached their house and started pulling on the front door handle.
When approached, the woman said she was looking for firewood. She left the home, walked down the road and got into a van driven by a man.
She is described as 5'3" to 5'4", around 50 years-old, a heavier mid-section with short dark hair. She was wearing black tights, light coloured toque and jacket with white high top running shoes.
The man was clean shaven with dark hair driving a newer model minivan that is blue or grey in colour.
Oxford OPP are reminding the public to contact them immediately if there is suspicious activity on their property and provide as much detail as possible. All emergency situations should be called in to 911 and non-emergent police matters can be called in to 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers
