Police have charged a 30 year old from Brant County after a taxi cab driver was robbed this morning in Paris.
PARIS - A 30 year old from Brant County has been arrested after an apparent robbery in Paris.
Police say the suspect was taking a cab early Monday morning on William Street. At some point, an altercation took place between the driver and the customer. Police say the drivers purse was stolen, and the suspect fled on foot.
Wesley McPherson was located a short while later by police and charged with robbery and assault.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charges.
