A Woodstock teen trying to beat traffic has been taken to hospital after getting hit by a car.
It happened around 3 this afternoon on Norwich Ave near Alice Street.
Sergeant Rod Wilkinson tells Heart FM a car in the inner southbound lane was waiting to turn onto Alice when a pair of teens darted across the road.
At the same time a southbound vehicle in the outer lane approached, not being able to see the teens, hitting one of them.
The teen, who Wilkinson believed was around 13, was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
No word on any charges at this point.
