A big win for Woodstock's Bob Thompson could send him to European competition.
More skiing accolades for Woodstock native Bob Thompson.
On Wednesday, Thompson won his first Noram Cross Country ski race in Canmore, Alberta.
He won his quarterfinal race, and finished 2nd in the semi-finals to qualify for the "A" final. He then won the final race, which is a selection race for Cross Country Canada for upcoming races in Europe.
Thompson is a graduate of Woodstock Collegiate Institute.
