1 person has died and 2 others injured following a head-on collision in the town
One person has died following a head-on collision on John Pound Road.
Oxford OPP say it happened around 1:15 this afternoon when an east bound car lost control hitting a westbound pickup.
The female driver 70 year old Martine Boutin of Langton was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her male passenger is in hospital with serious injuries while the driver of the pick up has just minor injuries.
John Pound Road will be closed from Highway 3 to Broadway Street for several hours as police continue to investigate.
