The Town of Tillsonburg has started off the New Year fresh with a new face. After nearly three months without a CAO, David Calder joins staff. He got through his first day of work ending with the year?s first Town Council Meeting. ?The first goal obviously is to get a budget adopted by council for the next year so that the city can move forward in terms of its finances, but longer term some of the things I want to look at is public engagement and how to get people involved and at least provide opportunities for involvement,? said Calder. Kelley Coulter formerly held the position, leaving after less than three years in the town. But Calder has roots in the county, growing up in Woodstock.
