INGERSOLL - The Town of Ingersoll has put out a formal statement regarding former CAO William Tigert.
Heart FM broke the news yesterday that Tigert was no longer with the Town and had been replaced by the Town Clerk Michael Graves. No reason has been given as to why this change was made.
Here is the officially statement from the Town of Ingersoll:
"The Town of Ingersoll and William Tigert would like to announce their employment relationship has come to an end. The Town wishes Mr. Tigert all the best as he moves forward and thanks him for his years of service.
The Town of Ingersoll would also like to take this opportunity to announce the appointment of our new CAO, Mr. Michael Graves, effective March 8, 2021.
Mr. Graves has been our Clerk for the last 8 years and served as CAO for the Township of Norwich prior to that. Michael has demonstrated his strong skills, abilities and dedication to take on the role of CAO. We believe Mr. Graves will make a smooth transition to this new leadership role."
