Woodstock Police lay out their traffic goals for April and May
As the weather continues to get nicer, Woodstock Police are focusing their efforts decreasing the number of collisions and injuries on our roadways.
According to police, in 2013 there were 776 collisions in Woodstock, of those reported crashes there were 127 injuries.
As a result, during the months of April and May this year, Police will focus their efforts on speed enforcement at school zones, use of hand-held communication devices, unsafe movements on the roadway, decreasing the number of people on bicycles and e-bikes disobeying traffic signals and signs as well as getting cyclists off of the sidewalk in the downtown core.
