Over 100 items are up for grabs in United Way Oxford's online auction.
OXFORD COUNTY - United Way Oxford has officially kicked off its latest Holiday Auction.
The proceeds raised will look to support programs and give assistance to those in need across the county.
Shannon Creery, United Way's Campaign Coordinator and sponsored employee from Toyota, says this is the perfect opportunity to get some of your Christmas shopping done.
"We have items that range from $20 to $1,300 so there's a little bit of something for everyone."
Items include a signed Jonathan Tavares Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey, a Holiday Inn pool party, Blue Jays tickets, as well as plenty of gift cards and certificates from local restaurants.
Creery would like to thank the community for its support.
"We've been getting generous donations from all over the county. We have over 100 items on our website right now that I've been building and we have some phenomenal items."
Creery adds last year's auction raised over $10,000.
"Naturally, I want to meet that $10,000 from last year, however, I'm very competitive and my own personal goal is $15,000. This economy is really tight though and everybody has been really generous and giving, so whatever we get we're really excited and happy for."
The auction will run through to December 8th at 1:00 p.m., with the full list of details able to be found on the United Way Oxford Facebook Page.
