United Way Oxford moving to former Art Gallery building on Hunter Street
The United Way of Oxford is on the move.
City Council approved a lease application for the former Art Gallery building located at 447 Hunter Street Thursday night.
Before the United Way take possession on June 1, the City will need to undertake $44,000 in renovations to the building which include installing a new gas furnace, replacing the roof and reopening the windows.
The lease is for 7 years with two 7 year option renewals.
