"We had over 500 years of marriage in the room at our lunch today and that was pretty exciting listening to their stories and the tricks to stay together and the things to ignore to stay together, so that you stay together. It's just a really heartwarming afternoon."
Perhaps the most remarkable couple at the lunch was Ruby and Chuck McFadden who have been married for 72 years. Ruby McFadden shares the secret to a long marriage.
"Well, just quit fighting, (Laughter) just have a smile on your face, that's what I would have to say after almost 73 years. It's been a very happy time and we have done a lot of things together, travelled together and it has been wonderful, so you can't beat that."
