Woodstock are preparing to wrap up what has turned out to be a disappointing season. The Vets play their season finale at home tonight against the Aylmer Spitfires. Puck drops at Southwood Arena at 7:45 pm. The Navy Vets end their season with a dismal 6-31-0 record (12 points) that places them dead last in the Niagara Jr. C West Division. To celebrate the season finale, the Vets are hosting Woodstock Minor Hockey and Woodstock Wildcats Night; any player who come to the game wearing their jersey, and are accompanied by an adult, receive free admission. The Merchants are hoping they can rebound from their loss last Sunday. Norwich, currently four points behind New Hamburg for first place in the West Division, are hosting the Paris Mounties at the NorDel Arena tonight. Game time there is 8:00 pm. The Merchants wrap up their season Saturday night when they travel to New Hamburg to take on the first place Firebirds. Playoff action kicks off for both Tavistock and Thamesford tonight. The Braves host the Burford Bulldogs tonight at 7:30 pm and the Thamesford Trojans travel to Exeter to take on the Hawks. Game time there is 8:00 pm.
