Due to popular demand the Woodstock Art Gallery is going to extend the The Art of the Warner Bros. Cartoons exhibit.
WOODSTOCK - Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird and Elmer Fudd will be staying in Woodstock in the New Year.
Due to popular demand the Woodstock Art Gallery is going to extend the The Art of the Warner Bros. Cartoons exhibit. The free exhibit will now be available until Saturday January 26th, 2019.
Director/Curator of the Woodstock Art Gallery Mary Reid says fans of all ages are able to learn more about Bugs Bunny and Warner Brothers through a variety of ways.
"We have original drawings, cells, paintings, model sheets; all kinds of things in terms of the construction of when they did animation, literally by hand, as opposed to being computer-generated."
Reid adds that one the original drawings on display will be from Canadian cartoonist Charles Thorson, who came up with one of the first concept drawings for Bugs Bunny.
She says it's a presentation everyone can enjoy.
"I grew up on these cartoons, my parents grew up on these cartoons and presumably people's grandchildren can be introduced to them for the first time.
