Flooding and damage caused all 32 residents to be relocated to other care facilities
Residents at Woodingford Lodge in Tillsonburg have been evacuated following flooding and damage to the facility.
According to the County, a water valve in the sprinkler system failed last night causing the damage and forcing all 32 residents to be placed in other Oxford County healthcare facilities for the time being.
Everyone was out of the building and into new facilities by 6:30 Saturday morning.
Staff at the long-term care facility will remain with the residents at their temporary locations and are assessing the damage to the facility to determine when repairs can be made.
