Another cheque is headed to the bank courtesy of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. The City of Woodstock received another quarterly payment from the OLG, this time worth nearly $300 thousand pushing the total received to over 12 million dollars in non-tax gaming revenue. The payment represents 5.25 percent of the total slot revenue at the Woodstock Raceway from January to March of this year. The city uses the money for community grants, road repairs and special initiatives.
