The WPS Auxiliary Unit will be collecting donations outside Sobeys, Zehrs, and Scott's No Frills on Saturday December 9th.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service Auxiliary Unit is getting ready for its 15th annual Fill-A-Cruiser Holiday Food Drive.
The fundraiser is expanding this year, so officers will be outside three local grocery stores on Saturday December 9th. They will not only be at the Sobeys on Springbank Ave, but also the Zehrs on Dundas Street, and Scott's No Frills on Norwich Ave.
Officers will be collecting cash and non-perishable food item donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. that day.
Last year's event raised over $3,700 worth of donations. Sobeys also offered pre-made donation bags for $10 each.
