UPDATE: This story has been updated to include three more cases that have been confirmed, now bringing the province's total to 145.
ONTARIO - Ontario has 42 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
A majority of the cases are still pending, however the ages range from 30 to 70 years old, with the eldest being a man in his 70s from Simcoe Muskoka. The man is located at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and he is the only case that is hospitalized, while all of the other cases are in self-isolation.
Today's confirmed cases brings the province's total to 145.
A majority of the cases are from the GTA and there is one from Middlesex-London and two from Waterloo.
Out of the 145 cases, five people have recovered and 1,316 are currently under investigation.
