Actress Angela Lansbury has passed away at the age of 96.
The three-time Oscar nominee had a career spanning eight decades, with numerous film, theatre and TV roles.
She was best known for her starring role in the show "Murder, She Wrote."
In a statement, her family says she died in her sleep, just five days before her 97th birthday.
