The Provincial Animal Welfare Service are now investigating an animal cruelty case after Oxford OPP first responded.
BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - An animal cruelty investigation is underway in Oxford County.
The OPP responded to the report of young abandoned dogs as well as a dead dog on Sunday, around 11:30 a.m., on Township Road 8 in Blandford-Blenheim. Officers found the dog in a nearby ditch and have since handed the investigation over to the Provincial Animal Welfare Service.
