Woodstock Police are investigating multiple break and enters in apartment buildings on Chieftain Street.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are investigating five break and enters, all of which occurred in apartment buildings on Chieftain Street.
Officers say the first incident happened when a resident went to go get his mail on Thursday. They say a suspect entered his apartment and stole cash while he was away.
The second incident occurred at around 10am on Thursday. The resident found a female in her standing in her living room and told the resident they were in the wrong apartment. Officers say the suspect then left the apartment and no items were stolen.
Just 10 minutes later another resident had unlocked her door to leave her apartment, but had to turn around and go back because she forgot something. Shortly after she returned a male suspect walked in posing as a personal support worker. He left the scene shortly afterwards.
A male resident also found a woman in the bathroom of his apartment on Friday.
Police add an unknown suspect stole cash from another apartment in the fifth incident.
