Police have charged a 20-year-old with second-degree murder.
UPDATE 2 (May 5th, 2026) - The Woodstock Police Service have made an arrest following a suspicious death investigation.
On March 12th, the WPS responded to a home on Dundas Street to conduct a wellness check.
The police service said the circumstances surrounding the death were suspicious, but there was no known risk to public safety. During the investigation, a second incident involving the same suspect was also examined.
A 20-year-old Woodstock man has been charged with second-degree murder. The victim and the accused were known to each other. Woodstock Police would like to thank members of the public for their cooperation in this investigation.

UPDATE 1 (March 17th, 2026) - The investigation into a suspicious death remains ongoing at this time in Woodstock.
Police are asking the public for any surveillance or vehicle dash camera footage in the area of Dundas Street, between Vansittart Avenue and Bexley Street. The Woodstock Police are looking for footage from the timeframe of Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. and Friday, March 13, 2026, at 12:30 a.m.
