There will be a little sibling rivalry on the course as a brother and sister compete in Flat Track Canada Races in Paris
PARIS - A brother and sister team will be representing Woodstock once again at the Flat Track races in Paris.
Boyd and Tegan Deadman have been racing for a couple of years now and both had strong showings at the races last Sunday in Woodstock. This Saturday they will be back at it taking on some stiff competition in Paris. 11 year old Boyd tells Heart FM he got into racing when he was 7 years old.
"We went to Paris Speedway and I saw them because our papa told us about it, so we checked it out and then the next Friday I wanted to race for myself and ever since then I have been racing."
The brother-sister team will compete against each other in the 250 youth class at the races this Saturday at the Paris Speedway starting at 3:00 p.m. Tegan says the youth competitions are just part of the show and they do have the professionals on hand as well.
"It's a solid three hours that you are there and watching the races and everything is very family based and it is a great time at the track."
