Woodstock Police say they were kept busy this May 2-4 weekend, responding to some 150 calls for service. They say there were several calls over complaints of fireworks being set off. There were also several car crashes: -Huron and Sutherland Drive., $5000 in damage was done and a female driver was charged with careless driving. -$3000 in damage was done Saturday at Ingersoll Ave. and Light St., where police say a man failed to stop for a stop sign, hitting another vehicle. -Crash on Alice St., $400 in damage and a male driver was charged with failing to signal a turn. -Sunday, Norwich Av. at Juliana Dr. Police say a vehicle failed to stop at the lights. A female driver has been charged. The good news is, no impaired drivers were detected at several RIDE checks across the city.
