BRANT COUNTY - They will be having plenty of Canada Day celebrations in Brant County on Monday.
Mayor David Bailey says the County wants to wish everyone a Happy Canada's Day.
County of Brant, ON – The County of Brant would like to wish everyone a Happy Canada’s Day!
"Canada Day is a time to engage in celebrations and be thankful that we belong to this wonderful country. We are so blessed to live in a welcoming and prosperous country and we hope to see you and your loved ones around the County of Brant enjoying all the wonderful events. Everyone is welcome!"
Canada Day events are happening in the following locations:
- A free swim from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Paris Community Pool and Splashpad at 80 Laurel St., Paris.
- A delicious fish fry with the South Brant Lions Club from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Oakland Park, 8 Mackenzie Lane, Oakland.
- A spectacular Fire and Thunder fireworks show presented by the St. George Firefighters. Fireworks take place at dusk at the King William Park, 58 King William St., St. George.
