WOODSTOCK - After two different years due to COVID, Christmas in the Square is back in the Friendly City.
The Downtown Woodstock BIA are offering carriage rides and a visit with Santa Claus.
The events start tonight and tomorrow and they will take place every weekend at Museum Square until December 17.
The times are Fridays 5-8 p.m. and Saturdays 12-4 p.m.
Judith Fleming, Downtown Woodstock BIA Assistant Manager says the family carriage rides loop around Museum Square.
"We do registration 15 minutes prior to the start of the Friday night 5 p.m. or the Saturday 12 p.m. start. They line up, register their family name and we give them a number and a time so we can keep the rides flowing."
Photographers will also be there and if you want a family photo with Santa, it's only $5. Santa is also accepting letters from the children.
Fleming says she's hoping for and expecting a big turnout this year.
"I would think with families able to be out and about in the public and doing more things with their children that we will be busier."
