The 500 pound bins have gone missing from numerous locations throughout the city and they are valued at $1,100 each. The bins were likely stolen for the street. Two vehicles are of interest to police those being a small black pickup truck, and a large white cube van both were seen in the area of the thefts. The bins are used for charity purposes and the thefts are unsettling.
Similar thefts have been reported in different parts of the region and anyone with information is to contact the Woodstock Police Department immediately.
