The CP Holiday Train is hitting the tracks again this year, stopping in Woodstock tonight.
WOODSTOCK - The CP Holiday Train is coming back to the Friendly City.
The locomotive with 13 cars will be completely decked out with Christmas lights when it stops by 199 Winniet Street tonight. Media Relations Advisor Mallory McCredie says the train should be rolling in at around 6:40.
"The show will start at 6:50 p.m and you will see a great performance, we got Jim Cuddy, his son Devon Cuddy and Kelly Prescott performing for you guys."
Jim Cuddy is the lead singer of Blue Rodeo. Admission is free but people are being asked to bring donations for the local food bank.
McCredie says the train has raised a lot of money over the past 19 years.
"Since the train began we have actually raised more than $13 million dollars and 4 million pounds for food banks in North America."
Those who attend are asked to bring a non perishable food item for the food bank.
