You have until February 23rd to submit your suggestion for the county-wide book club.
OXFORD - You can now submit your suggestions for the county-wide book club, known as Oxford Reads.
It's an annual partnership between the Oxford County Library and the Woodstock Public Library. They select one book each year and promote it through various programming, leading up to the Oxford Reads Gala in the fall.
Suggestions are currently being accepted for a shortlist of books that will be voted on by the public. They must be by a Canadian author, published in the last five years and appeal to a broad audience. The book should also generate discussion on a variety of topics, have the potential for diverse programming in the community, and ideally have an author with a recognisable name and/or acclaimed work.
You have until February 23th to submit your suggestions using the online form here.
The 2025 Oxford Reads selection was Life in Two Worlds: A Coach's Journey from the Reserve to the NHL and Back by Ted Nolan.
