It's introducing the Buy Close By campaign and tickets are now on sale for the Sip and Sample Social this spring.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock and District Chamber of Commerce is looking to promote local businesses.
Buy Close By is their latest campaign, and General Manager Mike Crabbe says anyone with a local business is invited to participate.
"Right now, we are looking at doing a video series where we are going to be promoting and highlighting a series of local businesses in some short social media reels and businesses can apply to be featured in these."
Applications can be found on the Chamber's website online here, and they are due before the end of the month.
Another event returning to the Friendly City is the Sip and Sample Social, which is scheduled to take place March 24th at the Oxford Auditorium.
Crabbe says it's a great way to learn more about the local restaurants and breweries in the area.
"Essentially, get a ticket, come on out, you get to sample all these different restaurants, breweries, wineries, distilleries, and ways to come out and try a lot of different fun things. We are pleased to say that we've got our title sponsors done, and we are looking for exhibitors. If you offer beverages, if you offer food, reach out to us."
Advanced ticket sales can be purchased until March 23rd, and they are also available through the chamber's website online here.
