Ontario is reporting 2,421 new cases of COVID-19 this morning. The largest single day increase since May.
Daily case numbers continue to spike in Ontario as the Province reported 2,421 new cases of COVID-19 this morning.
Currently 86% of the Province over the age of 5 has had at least one dose of the vaccine and 87.7% of the 12+ population is fully vaccinated.
Right now 328 people are battling the virus in the hospital in Ontario, including 165 people in the ICU. Of the people in the ICU 141 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 24 are fully vaccinated.
Individuals who are not fully vaccinated represent 23.0% of Ontario’s total population and amount to 758 of Ontario's 2,421 new reported cases. 133 cases are in individuals with an unknown vaccination status.
