Two people are facing charges after the Oxford OPP were called to a break-and-enter in Norwich Township.

NORWICH TOWNSHIP - Live CCTV footage and a call to the Oxford OPP have led to arrests.

On Sunday, the Oxford OPP were called about a break-and-enter in progress at a property on Base Line in Norwich Township. Two suspects were found trying to steal machinery and tools from a barn, but were located by OPP officers, the West Region Emergency Response Team, and Canine unit. The people went to the property in a black pick-up truck towing a black trailer.

A 45-year-old Bayham man and a 50-year-old Norfolk County man are both facing 3 identical charges, which include Break-and-Enter with the Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence, Possession of Break-In Tools, and Obstruct Peace Officer. A 4th charge was laid against the 45-year-old, which was Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

Both suspects have a court date in Woodstock in December.
