WOODSTOCK - Multiple charges have been laid after a single-vehicle collision in Woodstock.
On Saturday at 11:50 p.m. officers witnessed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed through the Woodstock Raceway parking lot, and almost hit a parked vehicle. The driver then proceeded through neighbourhood streets with speed, leaving the roadway and failing to stop at intersections. The vehicle eventually hit a snow bank and construction fence, at which point the driver was arrested and charged.
A 27-year-old Woodstock man is facing counts of operation while impaired, failure or refusal to comply with a demand, and dangerous operation.
He has been released on an undertaking.
