A 37-year-old has been charged after an interaction with an OPP officer.
INGERSOLL - A charge has been laid after an incident involving an Oxford OPP officer.
On Friday, the police responded to a disturbance at 5:00 a.m. at an address on Albert Street in Ingersoll. Once on scene, an officer interacted with one of the people, at which point resulted in that officer being assaulted.
There were no injuries reported, and a 37-year-old Ingersoll man is facing one count of assaulting a peace officer. He will appear in Woodstock court in March.
